New team in charge of Merré shipyard.

Since June 1st, Moun Bourjij, President, and François Martin, General Manager, have took over André and Alain Merré, who decided to pass the hand at the dawn of their retirement.

Moun Bourjij and François Martin, from a large industrial group and head of the Acmat factory (military vehicles) in Saint-Nazaire until 2009, had embarked on a personal project to create their own industrial BMA group whose first company was the company Forminox, an industrial boilermaking and tube bending company based in Vertou near Nantes and joined the group in 2010.

For the new leaders Forminox and Merré are complementary, especially around the naval. They were convinced by the competence and know-how of teams who work at Merré shipyard. This is an extremely important asset for building the future and ensuring the development of the company asset.

Objective : "Open abroad"

Moun Bourjij and François Martin with around forty employees, will continue the strategy of development in the current markets and "open the site to other prospects, especially to export". To do this, they will rely on its own network, while putting forward "the reputation of the site. Merré spirit must continue.

While maintaining its partnership with Mecasoud in Saint-Nazaire, Merré shipyard is continuing to build the second Loire road ferry, which will be available in the spring of 2013, while waiting for the new clients to trace his new wake.
