CIB Shipyard in Brest launched a patrol speedboat for lagoon surveillance commissioned by Ivory Coast. This aluminum ship is derived from Valbelle and Augustine, two 11.5-meters boats delivered in 2015 at the Iroise Marine National Park.

The new unit is distinguished by a larger wheelhouse (full width) and a different propulsion, consisting of two Yamaha outboard engines of 200 hp each.

After being launched by means of the boat lift at the Moulin Blanc marina, she made short tests in the harbor of Brest. It was put back dry on January 4th to be loaded on a truck. It should reach the port of Le Havre to be conveyed by a merchant ship to Côte d'Ivoire.

Subsidiary of the BMA group, which also owns the Merré Shipyard in Nort-sur-Erdre, near Nantes, CIB also participates in the new RP10 tugboat-pushing program of the French Navy (three have been completed in Brest for the moment) and started at the end of 2018 the construction of a 15 meter trawler
