The construction of six SEEM 12-530AL pilot boats is under process and the first hull has been flipped

The leadership L’Aigrette of the new tugs-pushers intended for the French Navy have started her sea trials in Toulon naval base.

Tug SEEM 12-800ST « L’Aigrette » has been launched in Nort sur Erdre. She is the first pusher-tug SEEM 12-800ST of a 29 series built by Merré shipyard for the French Navy.

Currently at Merré shipyard, the construction of six SEEM 12-530AL pilot boats has started. They are built both the hull and superstructure in aluminium material.

Merré shipyard has jbeen awarded for the construction of a cutter suction dredger and a multipurpose vessel.

Expected delivery date in 2018,this is the fourth sisterships of the tug SEEM 14-1000ST who will be built at Merré shipyard for a new ship owner.

Merré shipyard was among the competitors of the international tender launched at the end of 2016 by the OMMP, concerning the design and construction of six aluminium pilot boats for Tunisia.

Tug SEEM 14-1000ST « Djebel El Ouehche » has been launched in Saint Nazaire. Merré shipyard is about to deliver a third 14 meters sistership tug to a new owner.
