CGN company (Compagnie Générale de Navigation on Lake Geneva) is deploying “Ville de Genève” passenger ship back into service at the beginning of July 2014 after several months of renovation and transformation.

Four shipments left Merré shipyard at the beginning of March. The shipyard has built in his workshops the new superstructures of “Ville de Genève” passenger ship for CGN owner on Lake Geneva and is currently assembling it on the vessel.

“Vevey” launchin ceremony took place on November 16, 2013, after a deep refit, which was strongly managed by the Merré shipyard, specificaly by rebuilding the wheelhouse and propulsion system.
