Tug SEEM 14-1000ST "Ahmed Ben Bella"

Merré shipyard is ready to deliver to her new owner a new tug SEEM 14-1000ST sistership, propelled with two D13 Volvo engines with a total power of 1000 hp.
Bollard pull exceeding 13 tons for a freeway speed of more than 11 knots, her autonomy (5000 liters of fuel) makes it possible to respond to missions far from her home port.
She can accommodate a crew of six people. She is laid out for life on board over periods of several weeks (capacity of fresh water, equipment of comfort of life on board, ...).
This tug is thus very dense and compact ; She reflects the know-how of Merré shipyard in terms of work boats, which guided the choice of the customer.
She was built at Merré shipyard in Nort-sur-Erdre. The hull and superstructure were transported separately by means of trucks to the launching site in Saint Nazaire. The assembly of the superstructure and the connection of the networks was carried out on this site before launching at the end of May.
The sea trials have just been successfully completed in the presence of the shipowner's representatives, before leaving in a few days for her home port.
